Talking and Listening to Parents
Unlike any other pre school, we are committed to working and communicating with parents. By partnering with you, we can give your child exactly what he/she needs to become a successful lifetime learner. We like a good, honest, old-fashioned, face-to-face conversation and follow-up.
Of course, we keep parents up-to-date with family communication centers in each classroom, regular newsletters and email, progress reports, special events and more. But there is no substitute for a good relationship between yourself, your child's teacher and the YKROK Centre Head. We hope you'll feel comfortable discussing any parenting issue with us, and we'll certainly do our part to let you know exactly how things are going with your child. Together, we'll keep all the lines of communication open. And, together, we'll help your child get off to a great start in life.
Any Time is a
Great Time to Talk
- YKROK Centre Head and Teacher/Nurse Availability
Your child's head teacher or nurse and the YKROK Centre Head are always available to chat at pick-up or drop-off times. They truly look forward to telling you about your child's day and learning more about what he/she may be doing at home. If a particular situation should need more time than at pick-up and drop-off, we would be happy to schedule an extra meeting. And, of course, you are also welcome to contact us via phone or email.
Open Classroom Policy
We want you to feel free to stop by at any point during the day to observe your child's classroom. An unexpected visit can be especially helpful during key transition times for your child, such as when he/she starts at the YKROK Centres for the first time.
- Escaltion Matrix
A level 1, 2, 3, 4 matrix is in place for parent issue resolution and follow up solution including after school hours escalation.
- Coffee/Tea with Parents
Scheduled with the centre head once in six months to discuss the child’s progress, growth and development.
